"Preserve Your Family Heirlooms" Workshop, Oct. 10, 7 p.m.
Tips on preservation, from fine china and clothing to papers and photos.

The San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society will host a βPreserve Your Family Heirloomsβ workshop on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Beaumont Womanβs Club. The workshop is free, and all are welcome. Part of a series of seminars designed to help the community learn more about preserving personal family histories, the workshop will be led by Tony Pierucci, historic preservation officer for Riverside County Parks, and will provide tips on preservation of all types of mementos, from fine china and clothing to papers and photos. The Beaumont Womanβs Club is located at 306 E. 6th St., Beaumont.
The historical societyβs museum will be open on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is located inside the Beaumont Womanβs Club. On Nov. 14, the society will present βEarly Postmasters and Post Offices in the San Gorgonio Passβ at 7 p.m. at the Dorothy Ramon Learning Centerβs Gathering Hall in Banning.
