Public Invited To Learn Impacts Of COVID On Pass Area

SAN GORGONIO PASS AREA, CA β€” A free community event that brings together a panel of experts speaking on the lessons learned from COVID-19 is scheduled next week in Beaumont.

The Pass Economic Development Agency is hosting the June 30 "Return to "Normal": COVID Lessons Learned, Best Practices & Moving Forward" symposium at the Beaumont Unified School District Office. Held in-person and also available via live streaming, the program will run 8 - 9:30 a.m. with check-in starting at 7:30 a.m.

Panelists for the event are Dr. Karan Singh, San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital; Matt Rahn, PhD, J.D., a public safety expert who led the creation of a public health workforce development and training program with Mt. San Jacinto College related to COVID-19 guidelines and serves as Temecula's Mayor Pro Tem; and Jeannine Stokes, vice president of human resources at Mt. San Jacinto College.
