San Jacinto Woman Dies From Injuries In SR-79 Crash

The two-vehicle crash was reported at 3:56 p.m., just north of the Ramona Expressway.

SAN JACINTO, CA β€” A 22-year-old San Jacinto woman who was seriously injured in a crash Thursday on Sanderson Avenue/SR-79 has died, the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau reported.

Julia Beeson of San Jacinto died at Riverside University Health System - Medical Center, less than two hours after the crash.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at 3:56 p.m., just north of the Ramona Expressway.

Sheriff's deputies and Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and found Beeson with life-threatening injuries. The other driver was uninjured, according to the sheriff's department.

While the cause of the crash remains under investigation, neither drugs nor alcohol was a crash factor, according to preliminary findings.

During the investigation, Sanderson Avenue, northbound from Ramona Expressway, was closed.
