Sheep-Shearing Weekends Kick Off At Highlands Resort
The family-friendly festivities get underway at 123 Farm in Cherry Valley on Saturdays and Sundays through March 2021.
CHERRY VALLEY, CA β 'Tis the season for sheep being freed of their "winter woolies" β which adds up to fun weekends at Highland Springs Ranch & Inn and 123 Farm in Cherry Valley.
Embark on family-friendly excursions Saturdays and Sundays through March to the organic farm, and get a close-up view of how sheep are shorn, how wool is processed, along with lessons on natural dyes, washing wool and feeding sheep.
Admission is $12 for those 18-65 years old, $8 for seniors (65+) and students (6-17), and free for youngsters through 5 years old.
