SoCal Beaches Make 2015 List of America's Favorites

For pure relaxation, nothing beats a day at the beach. Trip Advisor users agree, posting millions of reviews about their favorite places to get away.

The travel website has come out with its Top 25 USA Beaches list. The word is out on San Diego and Orange County—several local favorites made the list.

The highest rated California beach is La Jolla Cove, coming in at No. 6. One Trip Advisor user commented, “Great place for kids and adults to hear the seals on the beach doing their things. Nearby one can stroll to numerous cafes and shops.”

Rated No. 17, Newport Beach scored the highest mark in OC. Leon I of Gdansk, Poland, wrote his review last month, “Remains one of my favourite travel destinations in the world and I never leave disappointed. Beach, pubs, restaurants, bike paths, great weather.”
