Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?

Greenberg: The Law Offices of Soda & Greenberg has Officially been in business for over five years, but the firm predecessor, under Rodney Lee Soda, has been the premiere criminal defense and litigation firm in the Coachella Valley and the greater Inland Empire for the past 40 years.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Greenberg: I spent the first 20 years of my career as a prosecutor, the final five of which I was the Chief Deputy District Attorney of the entire Eastern Division of the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, running the day-to-day operation of the office. After many years, I had the opportunity to switch sides and move to the defense. The transition was natural and easy. Everything I knew, learned and taught at the DA’s Office, now lended itself perfectly to being a defense attorney.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?

Greenberg: Premiere litigation and criminal defense.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Greenberg: The most satisfying part of the job is simple — helping people. Helping people fight for what is right, and what they can’t fight for themselves.
