Stagecoach Festival Weekend: Concerts, Food, Road Closures 2023

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA β€”Country music festival Stagecoach will get underway Friday with a headlining performance from Luke Bryan, Kance Brown and Chris Stapleton prepare to headline Saturday and Sunday.

Stagecoach is held at the EmpirePolo Club, 81800 51st Ave. (See below for detailed road closures during the event.)

The weekend of performances at the country music festival will begin shortly after noon Friday with performances from Mackenzie Carpenter, Bella White, DJ Rick and Destinie Lynn across the venue's four stages -- Mane Stage, Palomino Stage, Diplo's Honkytonk Stage and Horseshoe Stage.

FRIDAY: Luke Bryan will take over the Mane Stage Friday night following performances from Jon Pardi, Riley Green, Elle King, Breland, Priscilla Block, Nate Smith, Jackson Dean, Seaforth, Drake Milligan and Tiera Kennedy.

The festival will also feature three Guy Fieri's Smokehouse Cooking Demos each day, with Adam Perry Lang and Pat Martin, John Pardi and ZZ Top on Friday.

SATURDAY: Kane Brown will take the stage Saturday following performances from Old Dominion, Gabby Barrett, Niko Moon, Morgan Wade and others.

More cooking demos will be conducted by Chris Conger and Rashad Jones, Niko Moon and Old Dominion on Saturday, at the Smokehouse.

SUNDAY: The festival will be closed out by Chris Stapleton, following Brooks and Dunn, Parker McCollum, Lainey Wilson, Parmalee, Bailey Zimmerman and others.

Brandon Shepard and Operation BBQ, Lainey Wilson and Taylor Sheridan, and Bailey Zimmerman take over the smokehouse Sunday.

WHAT TO KNOW WHEN YOU GO:

During the weekend, expect live performances at the venue's Bud Light Backyard, featuring music from Nate Smith, Seaforth, Tiera Kennedy, Cooper Alan, Lily Rose, Corey Kent, Madeline Edwards, Tyler Braden and Parmalee.

The venue will also offer a 1 Million Strong Wellness Retreat tent to unite people and to de-stigmatize addiction recovery through community, according to festival organizers. The tent will be a space for people to meet up with other sober attendees and allies to relax, recharge and indulge in non- alcoholic drinks.

ROAD CLOSURES:

Full road closures will be in effect for the last weekend of festivals in Indio, in an effort to enhance safety for the Stagecoach country music festival starting Friday.

"Approximately 40,000 guests will be shuttled into and out of the concert venue from various locations throughout the Coachella Valley to help ease traffic conditions," Indio city officials said in a statement. "Noise from the festival site could begin on each Thursday prior to the festival dates, due to sound checks and on-site camping guests."

Full closures will be in effect from Friday to Monday at the following locations:

  • Avenue 49 between Hjorth Street and Monroe Street;
  • Avenue 50 between Madison Street and Jackson Street;
  • Hjorth Street between Avenue 49 and Avenue 50;
  • Madison Street between Avenue 49 and Avenue 52;

Residents are encouraged to take alternate routes through Washington Street, Jackson Street, Calhoun Street and Golf Center Parkway for north and south travel and through Highway 111, Dr. Carreon Boulevard, Avenue 54, Miles Avenue and Fred Waring Drive for east and west travel.

A full closure will be in effect on Avenue 50 between Monroe Street and Madison Avenue until May 8, but will extend to Jackson Street for the weekends of the festivals.

Additionally, streets surrounding the festival site and Interstate 10 are expected to see major traffic from the more than 40,000 festival attendees who will be leaving the area each Monday.

All streets are expected to reopen to normal traffic patterns by May 8.
