Trump Trails Biden In Riverside County, See All Election Results

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA β Voters in Riverside County are poised, once again, to choose a Democratic presidential candidate over Donald Trump.
Ballots continue to be counted in Riverside County, but election results Wednesday show former Vice President Joe Biden with a lead in the Inland Empire. Biden has so far garnered 236,290 votes compared to Trump's 186,331.
The results are not final. Approximately 400,000 vote-by-mail and 25,000 provisional ballots are being processed in Riverside County. Work on those began Wednesday morning, according to the Riverside County Registrar of Voters. Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day also remain to be counted. The next updated results will be posted at 6 p.m. Thursday.

As of Wednesday, the Registrar reported 433,523 voter ballots cast out of 1,243,154 ballots sent to the county's registered voters. The figures represent a 34.87 percent turnout.
In the 2016 Presidential Election, Trump also lost Riverside County. That year, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton garnered 373,695 or 50.11 percent of votes cast in the county, compared to Trump's 333,243 votes or 44.68 percent.

In 2016, 1,019,130 voters were registered in Riverside County 15 days before the Nov. 8 election. Of those, 387,704 registered as Democrats (38.04 percent) compared to 366,210 who registered as Republicans (35.93 percent), according to the California Secretary of State's office.
In 2020, the SOS data show 493,331 registered Democrats and 405,411 registered Republicans in Riverside County as of Oct. 26.
