
Two vehicles crashed Wednesday morning on Winchester Road southwest of Hemet and two people were taken to hospital by ambulance crews, according to Cal Fire.
The crash was reported at 7:13 a.m. Jan. 8 atΒ Winchester and 9th,Β Mark Annas of Cal Fire-Riverside County said in a statement.
Sixteen firefighters responded and found aΒ traffic collision involving two vehicles with one personΒ trapped, Annas said.
"One patient was extricated and transported via ground ambulance to an area hospital with moderate to major injuries," Annas said.Β "One additionalΒ patient was transported via ground ambulance to an area hospitalΒ with moderate to major injuries."
The injured people were not identified.Β Agencies that responded includedΒ American Medical Response and the California Highway Patrol.
