Veterans, Active-Duty Military Get Free Golf Rounds In Hemet

The free golf is being offered Nov. 11-18 at Echo Hills Golf Course in Hemet.

HEMET, CA β€” In honor and appreciation of military service, Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District has designated Nov. 11-18 as Veterans Appreciation β€œFree Golf” days at Echo Hills Golf Course in Hemet.

During the eight-day period, retired and active-duty service members can play one round of golf per day, according to Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District.

"On behalf of Valley-Wide Recreation’s Board of Directors and entire staff, we would like to thank our United States service members for their dedication and service. We acknowledge and recognize our service members who have made great sacrifices to ensure our freedoms," a news release from the district read.

Tee times must be scheduled in advance and participants must present identification.
