With snow set to hit Southern California, Mountain High Ski Resort in the San Bernardino Mountains will open its season this week.
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA β Winter is coming to the Southland. Snow is in the forecast this week, and if weather permits, Mountain High ski resort in the San Bernardino Mountains will host an opening-day celebration Friday to ring in the new season.
The all-day party will begin 7 a.m. with free coffee and doughnuts, with the first chair ride set for 9 a.m. The event will also feature live music, DJs, and, of course, continuing lift runs until 4 p.m., the resort said.
Inclement weather could push the event to the following Friday, Nov. 29, a Mountain High spokesman said. A final decision will be made by Thursday.
