Woman Shoots Estranged Family Members In San Jacinto, 1 Dead
She shot two women at a home in the 1900 block of Meridian Street.

SAN JACINTO, CA β A woman shot two estranged family members in San Jacinto Monday night, killing one, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting was reported around 9:30 p.m. at a home in the 1900 block of Meridian Street.
When deputies got to the residence, they found two women with gunshot wounds β one died at the scene and the other was sent to an area hospital. The survivor was listed in stable condition, according to the sheriff's department.

The identity of the deceased was not released pending notification of next of kin.
Investigators from the sheriff's Hemet Station and the Central Homicide Unit took over the investigation. Nancy Susan Wischmeyer, 67, of San Jacinto was identified as the suspect and was arrested, the sheriff's department reported.

"The suspect and victims were estranged family members," according to the sheriff's department.
A motive for the shooting was not disclosed and it's not immediately clear who lived at the Meridian Street home.
Jail records show Wischmeyer was booked on suspicion of murder with malice and attempted murder. She has no documented criminal history in Riverside County, according to court records.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with information regarding the case to contact Central Homicide Investigator Adams at 951-955-2777.
