Peninsula Shooting Suspect Sought
Police said the gunman drove off in an older model small silver car, possibly a Nissan Sentra.
BELMONT, CA — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a gunman who they say fired shots at another man Wednesday afternoon in Belmont.
The incident occurred at around 1 p.m. on the 700 block of Island Parkway, police said in a news release.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot-1 black man who was wearing faded blue jeans and a tan hoodie. He drove off in an older model small silver car, possibly a Nissan Sentra, police said.

The victim was last seen running away from the area, police said. It wasn’t known if he was injured.
