Belmont's Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Warming Trend Coming

Don't let Friday's weather fool you. It's about to change.

BELMONT, CA — Though Friday was predicted to be "unseasonably cool" with scattered showers, Peninsula residents and visitors can expect a warming trend to kick in this holiday weekend, forecasters said. High pressure is expected to build in the region, leading to warmer temperatures on Sunday through Tuesday especially.

A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 63. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. West wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Partly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. West southwest wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 71. West southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 53.

Sunny, with a high near 74.

Monday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 54.
