It is an excellent course to take in preparation of joining the competitive Debate or Speech Teams of their schools. With the writing and debate skills taught in CS401 and CS402, students will move further learning new formats such as Parliamentary, Lincoln Douglas, and Policy. The course also covers in-depth knowledge of writing and presenting persuasive, informative, and impromptu speeches. The students do research on the advanced speech and debate topics and practice in class. Also, students learn from experts by analyzing the classic and modern famous speeches and speakers. This course is chalkful of challenging concepts and intriguing activities- perfect for the budding avid debater!
