Historic LA-Based Canter's Deli Now Serving San Carlos Residents

The menu, which is available from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., includes hot pastrami sandwiches, potato pancakes and thick cut steak fries.

SAN CARLOS, CA — Canter’s Deli, a historic Los Angeles-based deli, is now available to San Carlos residents via DoorDash.

Canter’s has been in Los Angeles since 1931, with its Fairfax Avenue location serving as a popular late night spot and a place for celebrities to pop in.

In the Bay Area, Canter’s menu is now available to customers for delivery in Atherton, Belmont, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Redwood City, San Carlos and Woodside, according to J. The Jewish News Of Northern California, with a South Bay location to come.

The offering is part of a program by DoorDash intended to help restaurants expand their reach and test new concepts, according to The Jewish News.

The menu, which is available from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., includes hot pastrami sandwiches, potato pancakes and thick cut steak fries.
