K-9 Deputy 'Caliber' Set To Retire From Sheriff's Office
After six years on the job in San Mateo County, this good boy is looking forward to family time and walks in the park!
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — After six years of service to the community, K-9 Deputy “Caliber” is retiring, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Assigned to the San Carlos patrol bureau with his handler, Deputy El Haddad, Caliber turned in an impressive career aiding outside agency investigations, performing at multitudes of public demonstrations, apprehending numerous suspects, locating drugs and assisting in hundreds of arrests, the agency said.
"K-9 Caliber’s retirement will include lots of family time, chew toys and visits to the park," the department said. "Please join us in recognizing K9 Caliber for his well-deserved retirement."
