'Robust Warming Trend' Possible Next Week In Belmont

BELMONT, CA — If you're making weekend plans or plans into the coming week, the National Weather Service says to expect seasonably warm temperatures. This, after monsoonal moisture was expected to clear out Friday.

"Seasonably warm daytime temperatures will persist with marine air keeping conditions cooler near the coast," the NWS said in its forecast discussion. "A more robust warming trend is then possible next week, especially inland areas, as high pressure builds over the region."

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 60. Southwest wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. West southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
