Counting Santas at LEGOLAND, CA
Tis the season for Santas, and there are a lot of Santas at LEGOLAND.
I was at LEGOLAND, CA. I went to a disco party, visited with friends, did a taste test and counted Santas. I would've done more, but I forgot my Santa Hat.
Disco Party
I didn't stay at the hotel this time. If I did, I would've been able to go to the disco party in the disco room downstairs. A secret that anyone staying on floors 2 and above knows is that every elevator ride is a disco party. I love this playful feature of the LEGOLAND hotel. Sedate elevator music welcomes you when the doors open, but once those doors closed... Party! As the elevator slows at the destination floor, so does the music. Everyone stops dancing and faces front with a grin that the next elevator rider might not yet understand, until the door again closes. Dah dah dah dah dum. Night fever, night fever! See it here on Channel Squigglemom!

Chocolate con Churros or Granny's Apple Fries?
I hadn't had Chocolate con Churros before, even though I go to LEGOLAND a few times each year. Why not? Well, it's because I'm such a fan of Granny's Apple Fries! So yummy, and I wouldn't normally make room for two rich dessert snacks. This time, though, I had to try it. I do taste tests quite a bit, because, well, I like to. It started one night when we had extra time at the airport when we were at the airport. I bought three types of mints and we did a taste test. It became part of what we do as a family. I even dedicated an entire YouTube channel to Taste Tests. However, as I review the content on that channel, it appears to me that none of the taste tests we've ever done have actually made it onto that channel. I suspect they're buried in the avalanche of videos on my Squigglemom channel. It's complicated. I've put up a video on Taste Tests for you to check out Churros con Chocolate? or Granny's Apple Fries?. It's the first time that I executed a taste test that deviated so much from the basic taste test formula. i.e. 3 things of the same named edible item. I don't want to be the video spoiler, so I'll let you check it out for the answer.

I Counted Santas
I'm very sure that I wouldn't get the number right. There are so many Santas in LEGOLAND, CA. The secret is that you have to look down, and look in a special place. You see, I was going to rush past most of Miniland on my way to the Star Wars Miniland area, but I stopped in Washington, D.C. - or was it New Orleans? and looked down. Lo and behold, there was a marching band, and a minifigure with Christmas cheer. Carolers, gift bearers. So I put on my Minifigure spotting glasses and went on a Santa finding trek around Miniland, LEGOLAND, CA, USA, World. I even think I found one in the Star Wars area, but I'd like you to see it and let me know what you think.
It's too bad that I Forgot My Santa Hat. If you go, please don't forget your Santa Hat.
