'Dexter' Announces Season 8 Will be its Final One
The Showtime hit, which has been filming in several parts of Long Beach in recent days, posts on Facebook a sneak peak Thursday afternoon from the season returning June 30.
It was announced some time ago that Dexter Season 8 would be the final one in the hugely popular series about a serial killer who avenges other serial killers. But speculation has persisted about another season for the Miami police department blood spatter expert, and his complex relationship with his adoptive sister.
But the wishful thinking and doubt ended Thursday when Showtime's hit drama announced on the Dexter Facebook page that Season 8 would be its last. The fan page with 13,272,163 likes and 107,000 people talking about it at 1:30 a.m. Friday.
