Fireworks Light Up Alamitos Bay
McKenna's threw a block party dinner, at $40 per adult, to get a jump on the national holiday celebration.
A free July 3rd fireworks display over Alamitos Bay lit up the night sky just after 9 p.m. compliments of McKenna's, which threw a $40 a head block party in early celebration of the July 4th national holiday. The glowing blossoms were visible from many non-waterfront parts of Belmont Shore. The newly relocated Patch newsroom overlooking the bay from Bay Shore provided the view taken in this photo.
