Four Escape from Burning Mobile Home in North Long Beach
All four occupants who were home escaped the blaze. A man and woman sustained mild to moderate burns and were taken to a local hospital.
Four people escaped with from a burning mobile home in north Long Beach Monday night as firemen fought the blaze.
Long Beach firefighters responded at 8:23 p.m. to the blaze in the Villa Park Mobile Estates in the 6400 block of Atlantic Avenue. Arriving firemen found heavy smoke and fire visible on all sides on the home.
All four occupants who were home escaped the blaze. A man and woman sustained mild to moderate burns. They were both treated and transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The other two family members were able to escape without injuries.
The cause of the fire was a Christmas tree too close to an ignition source.  Â
