Gay Bar Attack, a Hoarder Allegedly Shooting an Inspector and 1977 Teen Murder in Court This Week
Long Beach crimes being heard in court include the disturbing case of a young Mom found raped and murdered, her infant daughter propped against her.

Here are a few of the court hearings coming up this week that involve Long Beach crimes, most of which we've covered previously.
Tuesday:
Jonzel Stringer and Izac McCloud will be re-sentenced for the 2008 murders of two teens at a crowded birthday party. A state appeals court panel upheld their convictions for second-degree murder in the January 2008 shooting deaths of two teenagers at a crowded birthday party in Long Beach, but reversed Stringer's conviction on 46 counts of attempted murder and McCloud's conviction on 38 counts of assault with a firearm involving other partygoers.
A preliminary hearing date will be set for the man accused of an alleged hate crime against two men attacked outside a gay bar in Long Beach Beach. John Kelly O'Leary, a former Marine, is charged in an alleged attack on two men outside The Silver Fox gay bar in Long Beach.Â
Wednesday:
A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Martell Nathaniel Chubbs, who is charged with the 1977 murder of a teenage mother found dead in her Long Beach home two days after Christmas. Her infant daughter, 13 months old, was unharmed and found propped against her dead mother.Â
Friday:
Back in court is the case of the barricaded hoarder who allegedly shot a Long Beach city code enforcement officer. A preliminary hearing date is scheduled to be set for Anthony Glen Gorospe, who is accused of shooting a Long Beach code enforcement officer in the face and then holding police at bay for about seven hours. http://belmontshore.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/barricaded-hoarder-who-shot-inspector-...
