Woman Shot to Death in Long Beach
Among the few details: the victim may have been attending a baptism, according to one report.
A woman was shot to death in Long Beach, police said early Sunday.
The shooting in the 6400 block of Atlantic Avenue, not far from Jordan High School, occurred about 10:35 p.m. Saturday, Long Beach police spokeswoman Nancy Pratt said.
No other information was made available by police, but a videographer at the scene said the shooting happened at a party after a baptism, and that the shooter may have been the father of the child baptized.
