Meet the Honorable First Mayor of Miniland, California

In June, 2019, a new town was born. Located in sunny Shoreline Village in Long Beach, California, we created Brickersville. I designated the Honorable First Mayor of Brickersville, Jesse Miller. We've been building Brickersville, one brick at a time, with our Brickersville community. It now spans French Polynesia, Denmark, China, Trinidad, France. So very fun and exciting to be at the birth of anything new!

Today I received the news that Miniland, California now has its own First Mayor, James Carlin.
Just seven years old, James Carlin campaigned for the role of Mayor on social media. He won!

James Carlin, the Honorable First Mayor of Miniland, California, started his first official day with the key to the city. His official duties will include greeting guests, media interiews and photo opportunities. He created a LEGO Minilander of himself, which he placed in Grand Central Terminal in Miniland's New York City.

Aside from getting perks like free passes to LEGOLAND, CA, staying at the LEGOLAND hotel, and hobnobbing with Master Model Builders, Carlin works hard to bring new visitors to San Diego.
As any good Mayor would do, Carlin worked to create a special ticket offer for San Diegans.
