Noisy F-18 Expected to Fly From Long Beach Airport
Don't be alarmed if you hear the aircraft, which is expected to depart anytime from Friday afternoon until Sunday.
An F-18 jet airplane will take off from Long Beach Airport anytime from Friday until Sunday and should be expected to be pretty loud, a city official announced Friday.
Long Beach City Council member Gerrie Schipske sent out an e-alert to constituents from the airport, warning them to not be alarmed if they hear the heavy aircraft overhead. More here: http://www.lgb.org/
