Police Seek Missing Long Beach Man, 82

Police Monday morning sought the public's help in locating an 82-year-old Long Beach man who was last seen Friday.

Jose Salazar, who requires medical attention and may have the early signs of Alzheimer's disease, left his home voluntarily in the 1000 block of East Market Street Friday and was last seen later that day in Signal Hill, according to a department statement.

Salazar was described as a 5-foot, 6-inch tall Latino man weighing 170 pounds with black-gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve dress shirt and blue jeans. Long Beach police asked anyone with information regarding Salazar's whereabouts to call them at (562) 435-671
