Save the Forests LEGO® Model Building
Brickenburg, a LEGO User Group in Romania, is making its statement in LEGO® Bricks.

How, you might ask, do I come to be sharing a campaign initiated by a LEGO® User Group from Romania? I know Sever Alicu only by name, facebook and the LEGO® Ambassador Network (a secret - well, maybe not so secret - society of leaders of LEGO® User Groups around the world).
Sever is one of the first to join me in celebrating "2x4 Day, a Fan Created Global Day of LEGO Brick Play", which I initiated in 2015. You can read about their support and see some images of their work here. It's headed into its sixth year in 2020, and it waits to be seen whether the LEGO® User Group Ambassadors, or even just LEGO® Fans around the world will take up the challenge and grow it even further.
It's fun starting something with just an idea, and seeking out folks to help you in your purpose. I do it all the time. It's a scavenger hunt for community. Everyone loves a scavenger hunt!

Sever and Brickenburg, the LEGO® User Group he represents, are working on starting something of their own.
They are asking LEGO fans and forest fans to build models of forest scenes in support of the forests of the world. Even if you don't participate, I recommend you check out the cool stuff that Brickenburg LEGO fans make. I take the following from Brickenburg's facebook post, which was written in Romanian, Hungarian, Slovak and English.
