Watch: Can You ID This Alleged 'Bike-By' Groper?
Updated: Long Beach police armed with a new video renew their request for help identifying the figure in these videos.
Updated with new details 11:40 a.m. and a map of locations at noon.
Numerous sexual assaults on women have been committed in Long Beach by a male on a bicycle since a video of the suspect was released last year, and police Tuesday shared a second tape they hope will help catch the rolling perpetrator.
In both videos, a dark-haired male can be seen pedaling a bike on the sidewalk, and in the second video, the rider looks a bit huskier and has his bicycle light on. The Long Beach Police Department announced Tuesday that 20 similar assaults on women have occurred since fall of 2012, seven of them in 2013. Descriptions of the suspect's bike vary, leading investigators to believe he has access to more than one.Â

Following the Dec. 3, 2012 release of the first surveillance video, the attacks of women and girls ceased for nearly five months, then started again on February 7th. The most recent attack happened on March 25, and a witness reported it to police, who are hoping to locate the victim, as she left before officers arrived.
The latest surveillance video was taken on March 25 in an alley, where another incident happened at 2:30 p.m.

"In the series of sexual batteries, the victims vary in age from 12 years to their mid-60’s," a police department press anouncement states, "and all of them have been walking on the sidewalk when the suspect came up behind them on a bicycle and grabbed either their buttocks or breast as he rode by."
A majority of the assaults happened on sidewalks on or near 4th Street, and many of them were in the afternoon, although they seem to have occurred in the before-work morning hours and as late as 9:30 p.m., police said. (See the end of the story for the list of time and location of each battery).
