Young Boy Hit By A Car, Critically Injured In Long Beach
He was taken to a hospital with "life-threatening injuries," said Nancy Pratt of the Long Beach Police Department.

LONG BEACH, CA – A boy was hit by a car and critically injured Tuesday in Long Beach, police said.
Paramedics sent to the 700 block of Market Street at about 7:30 a.m. took the boy to a hospital with "life-threatening injuries," said Nancy Pratt of the Long Beach Police Department. His age was not immediately known.
The vehicle was heading east on Market Street when it struck the boy. The motorist remained at the scene, and was interviewed by police.

Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted.
