Antioch Woman Arrested In Benicia With Alleged Stolen Mail

Benicia police arrested an Antioch woman Wednesday on suspicion of possessing stolen mail after an apartment mailbox break-in.

BENICIA - Benicia police arrested an Antioch woman Wednesday on suspicion of possessing stolen mail.

According to Benicia police, 20-year-old Christina Figueroa was arrested following an investigation into a break in at the community mailbox room of an apartment complex on Rankin Way.

Police say a car was also stolen from the complex.

Benicia police say the investigation led them to a local hotel, where they located the stolen vehicle and the suspect in one of the rooms.

According to police, Figueroa was found with the stolen mail, along with drug paraphernalia and heroin.

Figueroa was arrested and booked into the Solano County jail.
