Authorities Identify Driver Killed In I-80 Crash
The fatal crash took place at the Hunter Hill Safety Rest Area off-ramp in Vallejo.
VALLEJO, CA— A 42-year-old Vallejo man was identified Monday as the victim of an early Sunday morning crash on Interstate Highway 80 in Vallejo.
Jack Luu was driving east in an Acura sedan at about 2:25 a.m. when he drifted off the road and collided with an empty Dodge pickup truck that was parked on the shoulder, CHP Officer David Harvey said.
The crash which took place at the Hunter Hill Safety Rest Area off-ramp was first reported around 2:30 a.m.

Investigators do not know whether distracted driving, drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, Harvey said.
An investigation is ongoing.
