Benicia Man Tries and Fails to Evade Arrest in Napa

A 47-year-old Benicia man is in fair condition at the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.  The Napa Valley Register reports that the man led California Highway Patrol officers on a chase that at times reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.

The suspect was arrested at the hospital for allegedly driving under the influence.
