4:41 a.m.: A burglar alarm was activated at a business on East Industrial. Officers found the business was secure.
8:48 a.m.:Â Officers mediated an argument between a caregiver and a resident on Belvedere.

1:28 p.m.: A residential burglar alarm was activated on Dundee. Officers found no burglars.
5:51 p.m.: Skate boarders were making life miserable for a resident on East L Street, but they were gone before officers arrived.

6:25 p.m.: Officers convinced the owner of a car blocking a driveway on West I Street to move the car.
6:42 p.m.: A resident on Southampton Road reported receiving unwanted phone calls from an ex-girlfriend. Officers talked to the woman.
6:52 p.m.: A cat that as biting a juvenile was removed from a Southampton Road residence.
7:12 p.m.: Officers gave advice to a driver who reported an incident of road rage on Interstate 680.
8:55 p.m.: A driver on West J Street accidentally pushed the car’s panic button prompting a call to Benicia PD from the car service.
9:59 p.m.: A car was towed from Goodyear Road.
10:04 p.m.: A suspicious vehicle spotted on Lori Drive belonged to someone living in the area.
10:34 p.m.: Officers are working with a citizen on West G Street regarding a court order.
10:50 p.m.: Officers were unable to find the loud party reportedly taking place on Military East.
11:18 p.m.: This time they did find the party. Officers convinced the host to quiet down.
Editor’s Note: Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
