7:58 a.m.: Officers arrived a home on East Third Street where a boy and his mom were having an argument. Officers took the mom’s side and had a talk with the boy.

9:04 a.m.: Officers searched for but were unable to locate an aggressive man on Southampton Road. The man may have been homeless.
10:51 a.m.: A residential alarm activation on Panorama appears to have been a malfunction.

12:59 p.m.: Officers took a report on an alleged case of phone harassment.
1:31 p.m.: Officers were called in to talk to some boys who were trespassing on East Industrial.
2:35 p.m.: There was a solo spinout accident on eastbound I-780.
2:46 p.m.: Police began an investigation into the theft of two 45-foot utility trailers from Stone Road.
3:17 p.m.: Officers found that the suspicious persons on Stone Road were AT&T subcontractors.
4:49 p.m.: Officers were unable to locate the unruly kids who were reportedly in the vicinity of Hastings Drive.
6:13 p.m.: The car blocking a driveway on First Street was gone when officers arrived.
7:28 p.m.: The alarm activation on East K Street was a malfunction.
11:14 p.m.: Officers opened a file regarding a domestic dispute on Cambridge.
11:18 p.m.: There was another domestic dispute, this one on Rose Drive. Again, officers opened a new file to document the situation.
Editor’s Note: Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
