1:31 a.m.: A resident on Rankin wanted to talk to an officer regarding a neighbor and drugs.

4:09 a.m.: Officers began an investigation into the vandalizing of a vehicle on Barton Way.
2:56 p.m.: A resident on Hillcrest wanted advice from an officer regarding vehicles that block her driveway.

3:34 p.m.: Police received a report of a tanker truck entering the freeway with a hose dragging on the ground. Officers were unable to find the truck.
3:35 p.m.: Officers received a report about a pick-up truck driver who tried to force another vehicle off the road. The pick-up driver also threw something at the other car.
5:23 p.m.: A burglar alarm activation at an East Third Street business appeared to be a malfunction.
9:52 p.m.: Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle parked for many days on Hillcrest. The vehicle left the area while officers were on the way to investigate.
11:38 p.m.: Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Myrtle. Investigating officers fund the vehicle occupants were talking.
Editor’s Note: Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
