Brush Fire Breaks Out Near I-80 In Vallejo

A freeway ramp at Columbus Parkway was shut down because of the blaze, CHP reported.

VALLEJO, CA — A brush fire broke out Tuesday afternoon along Interstate Highway 80 in Vallejo, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fire was reported just after 5 p.m. behind a Home Depot store near eastbound I-80 and the Columbus Parkway onramp, according to the CHP.

The Vallejo Fire Department responded and requested a shutdown of the eastbound I-80 offramp.
