Caltrans Announces Full Overnight Closures Of Hwy 37 In Vallejo

Westbound SR-37 and the northbound SR-29 connector ramp will be closed for bridgework.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Motorists can expect traffic delays soon on state Highway 37 near the state Highway 29 interchange in Vallejo.

Starting at 7 p.m. Monday, April 12, crews will begin working to replace existing bridge expansion joints on westbound SR-37, Caltrans District 4 Spokesperson Pedro Quintana said.

As the work continues, full overnight closures of westbound SR-37 and the northbound SR-29 connector ramp are scheduled, Quintana said.

The northbound SR-29 to westbound SR-37 connector ramp is scheduled to be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, April 15 until 6 a.m. Thursday, April 16, and again from 7 p.m. Monday, April 19 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 20.

The full closures of mainline westbound SR-37 are from 10 p.m. April 15 until 6 a.m. April 16 and again from 10 p.m. April 19 until 6 a.m. April 20.

Detour routes will be in place during the full closures, and drivers are advised to expect delays, Quintana said.
