CHP Seeks Witnesses In Fatal Solano County Hit-And-Run

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol is seeking the public's help to solve a fatal hit-and-run collision in a rural area of Solano County northwest of Fairfield.

At 9:45 a.m. Saturday, the CHP Solano Area Office received a call about a possible hit-and-run with injuries at 4488 Abernathy Road, north of Andrews Lane, CHP Officer Miguel Camarena Jr. said.

Officers responded and found a man's body, Camarena said.

Investigators believe two cars were involved in a hit-and-run crash around 6 p.m. Friday but have no vehicle descriptions.

"Due to the limited amount of information available, we are actively requesting help from the public," Camarena said.
