CREAM Opening Day In Vallejo: Free Ice-Cream Sandwiches For 1,000

VALLEJO, CA — North Bay ice-cream sandwich lovers may want to adjust their plans for this Saturday. CREAM, which stands for "Cookies Rule Everything Around Me," is set to open its second North Bay location at noon Saturday, Oct. 19 in Vallejo.
CREAM Vallejo, 746 Admiral Callaghan Lane, will offer free full-size ice-cream sandwiches to the first 1,000 customers.
Other grand opening festivities — superhero characters, a prize wheel, a jump house and a DJ — will continue throughout the day.

The Scoop On CREAM Vallejo
CREAM is known for its unique, handcrafted ice-cream sandwich combinations, each made with a scoop of flavored ice cream between two warm, freshly baked cookies.

After CREAM Vallejo's grand opening Saturday, it will open at noon daily and close at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The phone number is 707-649-1500.
CREAM Vallejo has to-go treats, pints, ice-cream cakes, catering boxes as well as CREAM’s newest dairy-free ice cream flavor, Soy Strawberry.
CREAM’s "build-your-own" approach allows guests to choose from more than 15 cookie flavors including Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chunk, Snickerdoodle or CREAMfetti cookies. Brownies, Do’sants (a donut/croissant hybrid), or made-to-order Belgian-style Waffles can be substituted for cookies, with gluten-free and vegan options available.
CREAM Vallejo offers more than 22 super-premium ice cream flavors including Cup of Joe, Birthday Cake, Cin-ful Churro and Banana Walnut Fudge, in addition to rotating seasonal flavors like Apple to my Pie and Peppermint Bark. Each ice-cream sandwich comes with an optional topping.
CREAM Vallejo also serves Ice Cream Sandwich Cookie Cakes, Floats, Malts, Milkshakes, Sundaes, and the infamous CREAM Taco, which includes scoops of any three ice cream flavors and any two toppings placed inside a freshly baked waffle “taco” shell.
Inside Scoop
The first CREAM opened in 2010 in Berkeley. Father and son co-founders, Jimmy and Gus Shamieh, created the company to share beloved family recipes.
CREAM has 30 existing storefronts throughout Northern and Southern California, Florida, Colorado and Alaska. Another 40 stores are under development.
CREAM began offering franchise opportunities in 2012 and has rapidly grown while demonstrating "the ideal intersection of a family-owned and professionally run business," the company says.
Vallejo CREAM is the company's second North Bay store and 18th in the Bay Area/Northern California. The existing North Bay CREAM is near Nut Tree Plaza in Vacaville.
San Francisco has three CREAM stores; other area cities graced with a CREAM include Alameda, Berkeley, Chico, Cupertino, Fremont, Fresno, Livermore, Milpitas, Oakland, Palo Alto, Sacramento, San Mateo and San Jose.
