
BENICIA, CA — A magnitude 2.7 earthquake struck near Benicia early Saturday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The earthquake was reported around 5:53 a.m.
Residents in Martinez, Vallejo and Clayton reported feeling the quake via the USGS "Did You Feel It?" tool.

According to the USGS, the quake was centered:
- Benicia, California 4.0 km (2.5 mi) NNW
- Port Costa, California 5.0 km (3.1 mi) NNE
- Crockett, California 5.0 km (3.1 mi) NE
- Vallejo, California 6.0 km (3.7 mi) ESE
- Concord, California 19.0 km (11.8 mi) NW
