Detour signs will direct motorists traveling eastbound on I-80 to take I-780 to state Highway 29 to state Highway 37 before getting back onto eastbound I-80.

Motorists traveling westbound on I-80 will need to take SR-37 to SR-29 to I-780 to I-80.

During the ongoing closure of the Springs Road Overcrossing, free shuttle service is available for pedestrians and bicyclists who need to safely cross Springs Road over I-80. A shuttle stop is located on each side of the bridge. Call 415-263-4000 with any questions about the shuttle service.

The I-80 Six Bridges Project is to raise the vertical clearance to a height of 16 feet and 6 inches on the six bridges that cross over Interstate 80 in the city of Vallejo, just north of the Carquinez Bridge, to safely accommodate commercial vehicles such as big rigs hauling freight along I-80.

Caltrans has set up an I-80 Six Bridges project hotline— 510 286-5620— to provide up-to-date information about the project for motorists and residents.
