Grass Fire Threatens Apartments on East O Street in Benicia

Update 4:20 p.m.
The grass fire that was threatening apartments on East O Street in Benicia was contained around 3:45 this afternoon.  There was no damage to any buildings though the fire was burning next to a parking structure associated with an East O Street apartment building.

3:11 p.m.
Fire fighters from Benicia, Vallejo and Contra Costa County Fire are battling a grass fire burning between East O street and East I-780.
