A new restaurant opened its doors in Benicia last week. It's called “The Workshop,” and they serve up cajun and creole food, for dine-in or takeout.

The eatery is located at 511 Claverie Way and they're currently open from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. You can find them on Facebook here.
"My mom said your food is delicious!" said Erin Reid Marchi on the Facebook page. "[She] said she can't wait to take me there. Looking forward to it."
The restaurant is serving Chicken Mushroom Spinachoke Soup on Tuesday and the special is Breaded Pork Chops & Baked Mac N' Cheese. They have been posting their specials on their Facebook page regularly.
