VALLEJO, CA — An investigation into a Solano County hit-and-run crash led to the arrest of a Vallejo man in connection with a freeway shooting, the California Highway Patrol said Thursday in a news release.

Video of the freeway shooting was captured by a third party and when detectives from the Golden Gate Division reviewed the footage they identified the suspect as 60-year-old Vallejo man Stoney Joseph Curtis, according to the CHP and Solano County jail records.

CHP served a search warrant Wednesday and took Curtis into custody on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon (firearm) and shooting at an occupied vehicle.
