Lane, Ramp Closures Slated For I-80, SR-37 In Solano County

A week-long paving project requires various lane and ramp closures, Caltrans advised.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Starting Sunday, motorists should expect overnight lane and ramp closures along Interstate Highway 80 and state Highway 37 in Vallejo because of a week-long paving project, Caltrans advised.

During the work that is scheduled nightly Sunday through Friday, motorists should expect delays and watch for detour signs on I-80 and SR-37, according to Caltrans District 4 Spokesman Pedro Quintana.

  • Sunday, Sept. 13: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. at westbound I-80 to eastbound SR-37 connector
  • Monday, Sept. 14: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. at eastbound I-80 to Redwood Street/ Admiral Callaghan ramps
  • Tuesday, Sept. 15: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. at eastbound I-80 off-ramp to Columbus Parkway
  • Wednesday, Sept. 16: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. at eastbound I-80 on-ramp from Columbus Parkway
  • Thursday, Sept. 17: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. at eastbound SR-37 to Walnut Avenue on-ramp and eastbound SR-37 just east of the Napa River

"Motorists are advised to reduce their speed and be alert while traveling through the work area," Quintana said.
