Nightly Lane Closures On I-80 At SR-29: Caltrans Traffic Advisory
Motorists are asked to reduce their speed to 45 mph in the construction zone.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA— Nightly temporary lane closures started Wednesday on Interstate Highway 80 at state Highway 29 as part of the I-80/SR-29 Bridge Replacement Project in Vallejo, according to Caltrans.
Workers are performing pre-construction work that requires nightly temporary lane closures on I-80, a Caltrans spokesperson said.
The lane closures on westbound I-80 start at 9 p.m. and continue overnight until 4 a.m., while the lane closures on eastbound I-90 start at 9 p.m. and continue overnight until 6 a.m., Caltrans District 4 Spokesperson Pedro Quintana said.

Workers are placing temporary k-rails, restriping and closing various lanes at times on I-80 at SR-29, Quintana said.
"Motorists are asked to be alert and reduce their speeds to 45 mph within the construction zone," Quintana said.
