Solano Co. Braces For I-80 Freeway Closures This Week
Overnight closures are planned as crews work on three separate projects.
SOLANO COUNTY — Parts of Interstate 80 Solano County will be closed as crews work on three separate projects, Caltrans said.
Starting Monday (April 5) at 10 p.m., the I-80/I-680/ SR 12 Interchange Project near Fairfield in Solano County will be closed for five straight nights.

Also starting on Monday, crews will close I-80 eastbound overnight at Red Top Road for two nights from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Motorists traveling eastbound on I-80 will need to exit Red Top Road onto Lopes Road back onto the I-80 EB on-ramp.

On Wednesday crews will be close I-80 westbound overnight at the Interstate 680 (I-680) connector ramp from11 p.m. to 4 a.m. for three straight nights at the same times.
Motorists traveling westbound will need to enter onto the I-680 connector ramp and travel southbound to connect to I-780 (Curtola Parkway) back to I-80.
