Vallejo Police Identify Local Man Fatally Shot Outside 7-Eleven

VALLEJO, CA — The Vallejo Police Department identified a local man shot and killed this week outside a 7-Eleven. Vallejo resident Percy Reed, 35, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the shooting Tuesday night, Vallejo police Sgt. Mat Mustard said.

The shooting was was reported at 10:36 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7-Eleven, 2580 Springs Road.

"Responding officers located a male shooting victim inside of a vehicle," Mustard said.

Reed's death is being investigated as the ninth murder this year in the city of Vallejo, the sergeant said.
