SOLANO COUNTY - The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for fire danger in the southern Sacramento Valley that includes areas of Solano County below 1,000 feet.
The warning is in effect from 5 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures combine to increase fire danger and lead to a red flag warning, National Weather Service, Sacramento forecaster Mike Kochasic said.

Temperatures in the Sacramento Valley and the Delta area are expected to be in the mid to upper 80s, but gusty winds and low relative humidity in the Delta will contribute to the fire danger, Kochasic said.
